Maintenance Technician – Yardly Ellenton

About the role

This position performs technical and mechanical work to ensure the buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas of the Yardly Ellenton community meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety, appearance, and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and perform preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues and repairing according to policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, supply procurement, maintenance tasks, and final quality checks.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment, tracking usage, returning unused items, and notifying the supervisor of re‑order needs.
• Document service requests accurately and promptly to ensure proper tracking.
• Assist with grounds and common‑area upkeep such as trash removal, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, general cleaning, and painting of curbs and signage.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts when feasible and using materials efficiently.

Required profile

• Ability to follow established procedures, safety standards, and regulatory code requirements.
• Strong attention to detail for inspections, documentation, and inventory management.
• Willingness to work a Monday‑Friday schedule with a rotating on‑call rotation.
