Maintenance Technician – Wood Creek Community

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join the Wood Creek community. The role focuses on preserving the safety, appearance, and functionality of the property’s buildings, grounds, and common areas while delivering high‑quality service to residents.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests and complete preventative maintenance tasks, diagnosing issues and performing repairs in line with safety standards and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, and final quality checks.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment, tracking usage and notifying supervisors of re‑order needs.
• Maintain accurate documentation for all work orders and service requests.
• Assist with grounds and amenity upkeep by trash removal, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, general cleaning, and painting curbs and signage.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing parts whenever possible and minimizing waste.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of hands‑on maintenance experience in a residential or property‑management setting.
• Ability to work independently, follow established procedures, and prioritize safety.
• Strong organizational skills for tracking work orders and inventory.
• Willingness to be on‑call once a month for a week.
