Maintenance Technician – West 5th LA

About the role
The Maintenance Technician will ensure that the physical aspects of the West 5th LA property—including buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas—meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety, appearance, and functionality. This full‑time, on‑site position supports resident satisfaction through timely repairs and preventative maintenance.
Key responsibilities
- Complete work orders generated from resident service requests.
- Perform preventative maintenance and diagnose the source of defects or problems.
- Execute repairs in accordance with company policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
- Assist with “make‑ready” preparations for new units.
Required profile
- 1–2 years of hands‑on maintenance experience.
- Availability to work weekends and be on‑call as needed.
- Ability to follow established safety procedures and regulatory codes.
Required skills
- Basic mechanical repair and troubleshooting.
- Preventative maintenance techniques.
