Maintenance Technician – Wardman Park (Lease‑Up)

About the role

The Maintenance Technician for Wardman Park will ensure that all building systems, grounds, amenities and common areas meet Greystar’s standards for safety, appearance and functionality. This role supports both day‑to‑day resident requests and the lease‑up process for new occupants.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident service requests and perform preventative maintenance, diagnosing defects and repairing them in line with policies, safety standards and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including pre‑move‑out inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, supply procurement, maintenance tasks and final inspections.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies and equipment, track usage, return unused items and notify the supervisor of re‑order needs.
• Document all service requests accurately and promptly to ensure proper tracking.
• Maintain grounds and common areas by removing trash, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, general cleaning and painting curbs or signage as required.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts when feasible and using materials efficiently.

Required profile

• Adherence to Greystar’s safety and risk‑management policies, including participation in routine safety meetings.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders, perform inspections and coordinate with vendors.
• Strong attention to detail for inventory tracking and documentation.
