Maintenance Technician – Villas at Princeton Lakes

About the role

The Maintenance Technician ensures that the physical aspects of the Villas at Princeton Lakes community—including buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas—meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety, appearance, and functionality. This full‑time position works Monday‑Friday with a rotating on‑call schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Complete assigned work orders from resident requests and perform preventative maintenance by diagnosing defects and making repairs in line with policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including pre‑move‑out inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, supply procurement, maintenance tasks, and final inspections.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment, tracking usage, returning unused items, and notifying the supervisor of re‑order needs.
• Document service requests accurately and promptly to ensure proper tracking.
• Assist with grounds and common‑area upkeep by picking up trash, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, general cleaning, and painting curbs and signage as required.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts whenever possible and using materials efficiently.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail for inspections, documentation, and inventory management.
• Willingness to work on‑site across the property and respond to rotating on‑call duties.
