Maintenance Technician – Vida at Mountain House

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the Vida at Mountain House community. You will ensure that apartments, common areas, and amenities are clean, safe, and fully functional while delivering high‑quality service to residents.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and perform preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues and repairing according to safety standards and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, and final quality checks.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment, tracking usage and notifying supervisors of re‑order needs.
• Document service requests accurately and maintain up‑to‑date paperwork.
• Assist with grounds and amenity upkeep such as trash removal, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, general cleaning, and painting of curbs and signage.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts whenever possible.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of hands‑on maintenance experience, preferably in residential or multifamily settings.
• Ability to follow established policies, safety procedures, and local code requirements.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently while coordinating with vendors.
• Flexibility to be on‑call and work a Tuesday‑Saturday schedule (8 am – 5 pm).
