Maintenance Technician – Vestara 72

About the role

The Maintenance Technician ensures that the physical aspects of the property, including buildings, grounds, amenities and common areas, meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety and functionality. This role involves responding to resident service requests, performing preventative maintenance and preparing vacant units for new occupants.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders generated from resident requests and conduct preventative maintenance, diagnosing defects and repairing according to policies, safety standards and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant apartments, including pre‑move‑out inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, supply procurement, maintenance tasks and final inspections.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies and equipment, track usage, return unused items and notify the supervisor of re‑order needs.
• Document service requests accurately and promptly to ensure proper tracking.
• Maintain grounds, common areas and amenities by removing trash, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, performing general cleaning and painting curbs or signage as required.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts when feasible and using materials efficiently.

Required profile

• Experience performing technical and mechanical maintenance in a residential or commercial setting.
• Ability to follow safety and risk‑management policies and participate in routine safety meetings.
• Strong organizational skills for tracking work orders, inventory and documentation.
