Maintenance Technician – Vert

About the role

Greystar is seeking a hands‑on Maintenance Technician to support a stabilized residential community of 277 units in Vert. The role involves ensuring all building systems, grounds, and common‑area amenities meet Greystar’s standards for safety, appearance, and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests and complete preventative maintenance work orders, diagnosing issues and performing repairs in line with safety codes and company policies.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant apartments, including pre‑move‑out inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, and final quality checks.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment, tracking usage and notifying supervisors of re‑order needs.
• Document all service activities accurately and promptly for tracking and reporting purposes.
• Maintain common areas and amenities by cleaning, pressure‑washing, trash removal, and occasional painting of curbs and signage.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing parts whenever feasible and minimizing material waste.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of hands‑on maintenance experience in a residential or property‑management setting.
• Proficiency with the Onesite maintenance software platform.
• Ability to work a Tuesday‑Saturday or Wednesday‑Sunday schedule.
