Maintenance Technician – Trailside NoDa

About the role

We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to join Greystar’s team at the Trailside NoDa community in Charlotte, NC. The role involves ensuring the property’s buildings, grounds, amenities and common areas meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests and perform preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues and completing repairs in line with company policies, safety standards and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including pre‑move‑out inspections, creating punch lists, coordinating vendors, obtaining supplies, completing repairs and inspecting finished work.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies and equipment, track usage, return unused items and notify the supervisor of re‑order needs.
• Complete all required documentation and paperwork accurately and promptly.
• Maintain grounds, common areas and amenities by removing trash, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, general cleaning and painting curbs or signage as needed.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts whenever possible and using materials and tools efficiently.

Required profile

• Ability to perform technical and mechanical work on residential properties.
• Familiarity with safety procedures, building codes and Greystar’s maintenance policies.
• Willingness to work a Monday‑Friday schedule with a rotating on‑call rotation.
