Maintenance Technician – The Willow

About the role

We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to join the team at The Willow, a mid‑rise, lease‑up community managed by Greystar. The role involves ensuring the property’s buildings, grounds, amenities and common areas meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders generated from resident requests and perform preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues and repairing them in line with policies, safety standards and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including pre‑move‑out inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, supply procurement, maintenance tasks and final inspections.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies and equipment, track usage, return unused items and notify the supervisor of re‑order needs.
• Document service requests accurately and promptly to ensure proper tracking.
• Maintain grounds and common areas by picking up debris, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, performing general cleaning and painting curbs or signage as required.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing parts when possible and using materials efficiently.
• Follow Greystar safety policies and procedures at all times.

Required profile

• Ability to diagnose and resolve mechanical and building issues.
• Experience with make‑ready and unit turnover processes.
• Strong attention to detail for documentation and inventory tracking.
• Willingness to work on‑site Monday‑Friday with rotating on‑call duties.
