Maintenance Technician – The View at TPC

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support The View at TPC property. The role ensures that the building, grounds, amenities and common areas meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests and perform preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues and repairing according to policies, safety standards and code requirements.
• Execute the make‑ready process for vacant units, including pre‑move‑out inspections, creating punch lists, coordinating vendors, obtaining supplies, completing repairs and final inspections.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies and equipment, track usage, return unused items and notify the supervisor of re‑order needs.
• Complete all required documentation and paperwork accurately and promptly to ensure proper tracking of service requests.
• Maintain grounds and common areas by removing trash, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, performing general cleaning and painting curbs or signage as needed.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts when possible and using materials efficiently.

Required profile

• Ability to read and follow work orders, safety procedures and building codes.
• Strong attention to detail for inspections, documentation and inventory tracking.
• Good organizational skills to schedule vendors, manage supplies and prioritize tasks.
• Physical capability to perform manual labor, lift equipment and work in various weather conditions.
• Commitment to Greystar’s safety and risk‑management policies, including participation in safety meetings.
