Maintenance Technician – The Sanctuary at Centerpointe

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the day‑to‑day operations of The Sanctuary at Centerpointe, a mid‑rise, stabilized residential community. The role focuses on ensuring that all building systems, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet Greystar’s standards for safety, functionality, and appearance.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident work orders and perform preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues and completing repairs in line with policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including pre‑move‑out inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, supply procurement, and final inspections.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment, tracking usage, returning unused items, and notifying supervisors of re‑order needs.
• Complete all required documentation and paperwork accurately and promptly.
• Maintain common areas and amenities by removing trash, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, general cleaning, and painting curbs or signage as needed.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts when feasible and using materials efficiently.

Required profile

• Ability to follow established procedures and safety protocols.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Willingness to work a Monday‑Friday schedule with a rotating on‑call rotation.
