Maintenance Technician – The Landing

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the day‑to‑day operation of The Landing community. You will perform technical and mechanical work to keep buildings, grounds, amenities and common areas clean, safe and fully functional.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and perform preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues and repairing according to policies, safety standards and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, supply procurement, repairs and final inspection.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies and equipment, track usage, return unused items and notify the supervisor of re‑order needs.
• Document all service requests accurately and promptly to ensure proper tracking.
• Assist with grounds and common‑area upkeep, such as trash removal, pressure‑washing breezeways and maintaining amenities.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of property maintenance or handyman experience.
• Basic electrical, plumbing and appliance repair skills.
• Ability to use maintenance software (e.g., Happy Co) and general computer knowledge.
• Availability for on‑call duties, Monday‑Friday, 9 am‑6 pm.
• Eligibility for a 20% housing discount.
