Maintenance Technician – The Heights, Chino Hills

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the physical upkeep of The Heights community in Chino Hills. The role ensures that buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet Greystar’s standards for safety, appearance, and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Complete resident work orders and preventative maintenance tasks, diagnosing issues and performing repairs in line with policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, supply procurement, and final quality checks.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment, tracking usage and notifying the supervisor of re‑order needs.
• Document service requests accurately and promptly to ensure proper tracking.
• Maintain grounds and common areas by removing trash, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, performing general cleaning, and painting curbs or signage as needed.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of property maintenance experience, preferably with HVAC and appliance repair.
• Ability to work Tuesday‑Saturday, 9 am‑6 pm, with on‑call availability.
• Proficient with computer systems used for maintenance tracking and reporting.
