Maintenance Technician – The Harlow

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join its team at a garden‑style property in The Harlow. The role involves performing technical and mechanical work to keep the building, grounds, amenities and common areas clean, safe and fully functional.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and perform preventative maintenance, diagnosing defects and repairing according to policies, safety standards and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, supply procurement, repairs and final inspection.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies and equipment, track usage, return unused items and notify the supervisor of re‑order needs.
• Document service requests accurately and promptly to ensure proper tracking.
• Assist with grounds and common‑area upkeep such as trash removal, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, general cleaning and painting of curbs and signage.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing parts whenever possible rather than replacing them.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with effective communication skills.
• Ability to follow established procedures, safety standards and code requirements.
• Attention to detail in documentation and inventory management.
• Willingness to work on‑call and adhere to a Tuesday‑Saturday schedule.
