Maintenance Technician – The Foundry at Mashburn Village

About the role

The Maintenance Technician will ensure that the physical components of The Foundry at Mashburn Village meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety, appearance, and functionality. This onsite role involves responding to resident requests, performing preventative maintenance, and preparing vacant units for new occupants.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders generated from resident service requests and conduct preventative maintenance by diagnosing defects and performing repairs in line with safety standards and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant apartments, including pre‑move‑out inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, supply procurement, maintenance tasks, and final inspections.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment, track usage, return unused items, and notify supervisors of re‑order needs.
• Document all service requests accurately and promptly to ensure proper tracking.
• Maintain grounds, common areas, and amenities by removing trash, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, performing general cleaning, and painting curbs and signage as required.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts when feasible and using materials efficiently.

Required profile

• Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical and building systems.
• Experience with preventative maintenance and make‑ready procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow documented processes.
• Willingness to work a Monday‑Friday schedule with rotating on‑call duties.
