Maintenance Technician – The Fairmont

About the role

We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to join Greystar’s team at The Fairmont, a stabilized garden‑style community of 192 units. The role involves ensuring the building, grounds, amenities and common areas meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident work orders and perform preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues and completing repairs in line with policies, safety standards and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant apartments, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination and final quality checks.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies and equipment, tracking usage and notifying the supervisor of re‑order needs.
• Document service requests accurately and timely to ensure proper tracking.
• Assist with grounds and common‑area upkeep, such as trash removal and pressure‑washing of breezeways and pool areas.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of hands‑on maintenance experience.
• Basic proficiency in painting, plumbing and electrical work.
• Preferred experience with HVAC systems and appliance repair.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English; Spanish is a plus.
