Maintenance Technician – The Clarendon

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the physical upkeep of The Clarendon property. The role involves ensuring that buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders generated from resident requests and perform preventative maintenance, diagnosing defects and making repairs in line with policies and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, and final quality checks.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment, tracking usage and notifying supervisors of re‑order needs.
• Document service requests accurately and promptly to ensure proper tracking.
• Maintain grounds and common areas by removing debris, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, performing general cleaning, and painting curbs and signage as needed.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts when feasible and using materials efficiently.

Required profile

• Ability to diagnose and resolve mechanical and technical issues.
• Familiarity with safety and risk‑management procedures.
• Strong organizational skills for tracking work orders and inventory.
• Willingness to perform hands‑on tasks across various property areas.
