Maintenance Technician – The Chadwick

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the day‑to‑day operations of The Chadwick community. The role ensures that apartments, common areas, and amenities are clean, safe, and fully functional while delivering prompt service to residents.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests and complete preventative maintenance tasks, diagnosing issues and performing repairs in line with safety standards and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including pre‑move‑out inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, and final inspections.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment, tracking usage and notifying supervisors of re‑order needs.
• Maintain accurate documentation for all work orders and service requests.
• Assist with grounds and amenity upkeep, such as trash removal, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, and painting curbs or signage.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts whenever possible.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of hands‑on maintenance experience in a residential or property‑management setting.
• Ability to work independently, follow established procedures, and prioritize safety.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high‑quality workmanship.
