Maintenance Technician – The Boulevard (SC)

About the role

The Maintenance Technician will ensure that the physical aspects of The Boulevard property—including buildings, grounds, amenities and common areas—meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety, appearance and functionality. This full‑time position works a Monday‑Friday schedule with an additional rotating on‑call rotation.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders generated from resident service requests and perform preventative maintenance, diagnosing defects and repairing them in accordance with policies, safety standards and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant apartments: conduct pre‑move‑out inspections, create punch lists, schedule vendors, obtain supplies, perform repairs and verify completed work.
• Manage inventory of tools, equipment and supplies, track usage, return unused items and notify the supervisor of re‑order needs.
• Document service requests accurately and promptly to ensure proper tracking.
• Maintain grounds and common areas by picking up trash, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, performing general cleaning and painting curbs or signage as required.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts whenever possible and using materials efficiently.

Required profile

• Ability to follow established safety procedures, building codes and Greystar policies.
• Strong attention to detail for inspections, documentation and quality of work.
• Willingness to work the standard 8 am‑5 pm schedule and participate in a rotating on‑call rotation.
