Maintenance Technician – The Ashborough

About the role

Greystar is seeking a full‑time Maintenance Technician for The Ashborough property in Ashburn, Virginia. The role focuses on keeping the building, grounds, amenities and common areas safe, functional and presentable for residents.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests and complete work orders promptly.
• Perform preventative maintenance and diagnose mechanical or technical issues.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation and coordination with vendors.
• Ensure all repairs comply with company policies, safety standards and local code requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.
• Experience in building or property maintenance is advantageous.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and follow safety protocols.

Required skills

• Basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
• Proficiency with common hand and power tools.
• Understanding of preventative maintenance procedures.
