Maintenance Technician – Stella (MDR)

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician for its Stella (MDR) property in Marina del Rey. The role involves performing technical and mechanical work to keep the building, grounds, amenities and common areas clean, safe and fully functional.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests and complete work orders, diagnosing issues and performing repairs in line with safety standards and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, coordinating vendors, and completing all necessary maintenance tasks before new move‑ins.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies and equipment, track usage and notify the supervisor of re‑order needs.
• Document service requests accurately and promptly to ensure proper tracking.
• Maintain grounds and common areas by removing trash, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, performing general cleaning and painting curbs or signage as required.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing parts whenever possible and minimizing material waste.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of hands‑on maintenance experience in a residential or commercial setting.
• Availability to work weekends and a flexible schedule (Tuesday‑Saturday or Monday‑Friday).
• Ability to follow established procedures, safety standards and code requirements.
• Strong organizational skills for inventory tracking and documentation.
