Maintenance Technician – South Ridge

About the role

The Maintenance Technician ensures that the buildings, grounds, amenities and common areas at the South Ridge property meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety and functionality. The role involves responding to resident service requests, performing preventative maintenance and preparing vacant units for new occupants.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders generated from resident requests and conduct preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues and repairing them in line with policies, safety standards and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant apartments, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, supply procurement, maintenance tasks and final inspection.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies and equipment, track usage, return unused items and notify the supervisor of re‑order needs.
• Document service requests accurately and promptly to ensure proper tracking.
• Assist with grounds and common‑area upkeep such as trash removal, pressure‑washing, general cleaning and painting of curbs and signage.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing parts when feasible and using materials efficiently.

Required profile

• Ability to follow Greystar’s safety and risk‑management policies and participate in routine safety meetings.
• Capability to perform physical maintenance tasks and adhere to established procedures.
