Maintenance Technician – Single Family Townhomes

About the role

We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure the physical aspects of our single‑family townhome community meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety and functionality. The role involves responding to resident service requests, performing preventative maintenance and preparing vacant homes for new occupants.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders generated from resident requests, diagnosing defects and performing repairs in line with safety standards and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination and final quality checks.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies and equipment, tracking usage and notifying supervisors of re‑order needs.
• Document service requests accurately and timely to ensure proper tracking.
• Maintain common areas and amenities by removing debris, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, and performing general cleaning and painting as needed.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts whenever possible.

Required profile

• Ability to work Monday‑Friday, 8 am‑5 pm with a rotating on‑call schedule.
• Detail‑oriented and able to follow established procedures and safety protocols.
• Strong communication skills for coordinating with vendors and documenting work.
