Maintenance Technician – Sapphire Bay

About the role

The Maintenance Technician will ensure that the physical aspects of Sapphire Bay – from apartments to common areas – meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety and functionality. This full‑time, onsite position supports residents and prepares vacant units for new occupants.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests and complete work orders promptly.
• Perform preventative maintenance, diagnose defects, and execute repairs in line with safety standards and code requirements.
• Carry out the “make‑ready” process for vacant apartments, including pre‑move‑out inspections, creating punch lists, and coordinating vendors or contractors.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and ensure compliance with company policies.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.
• Ability to work independently, follow procedures and prioritize tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

Required skills

• Basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
• Experience with common building systems (plumbing, HVAC, lighting).
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
