Maintenance Technician – Rowyn Property

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the Rowyn lease‑up property. The role ensures that all building systems, grounds, amenities and common areas meet the company’s standards for safety, appearance and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests and complete work orders, diagnosing issues and performing repairs in line with safety standards and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including pre‑move‑out inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, supply procurement, maintenance tasks and final inspections.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies and equipment, tracking usage and notifying the supervisor of re‑order needs.
• Document service requests accurately and timely to ensure proper tracking.
• Maintain grounds and common areas by removing debris, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, performing general cleaning and painting curbs or signage as needed.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing parts instead of replacing them whenever possible.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of property management experience; lease‑up experience preferred.
• Availability to work weekends, be on‑call and adhere to a 9 am‑6 pm schedule, subject to business needs.
• Ability to follow established procedures, safety standards and documentation protocols.
