Maintenance Technician – Riverset Apartments

About the role

The Maintenance Technician ensures that the physical aspects of Riverset Apartments – buildings, grounds, amenities and common areas – meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety and functionality. This role involves responding to resident service requests, performing preventative maintenance, and preparing vacant units for new occupants.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders generated from resident requests and preventative maintenance, diagnosing defects and repairing them in line with policies, safety standards and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant apartments, including pre‑move‑out inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, supply procurement, maintenance tasks and final inspections.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies and equipment, tracking usage, returning unused items and notifying the supervisor of re‑order needs.
• Document service requests accurately and promptly to ensure proper tracking.
• Assist with grounds and common‑area upkeep by picking up trash, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, general cleaning and painting curbs or signage as required.

Required profile

• Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical or technical issues following established policies and safety codes.
• Experience with preparing vacant units for new tenants, including coordination with vendors and contractors.
• Familiarity with inventory tracking and supply management.
• Strong attention to detail for accurate documentation and paperwork.
• Willingness to perform general grounds and common‑area maintenance tasks.
