Maintenance Technician – Reserve

About the role

We are looking for a Reserve Maintenance Technician to join Greystar’s property team in Norcross, GA. The role supports the upkeep of a 352‑unit garden‑style community, ensuring all buildings, grounds and amenities meet Greystar’s standards for safety, appearance and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests and complete preventative maintenance work orders, diagnosing issues and performing repairs in line with safety codes and company policies.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant apartments, including pre‑move‑out inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, supply procurement, repairs and final inspections.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies and equipment, tracking usage and notifying the supervisor of re‑order needs.
• Document all service requests accurately and timely to ensure proper tracking.
• Maintain common areas and amenities by trash removal, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, general cleaning, and painting curbs and signage as required.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing parts instead of replacing them when feasible and using materials efficiently.
• Participate in a rotating on‑call schedule as needed.

Required profile

• Ability to read and follow work orders and safety procedures.
• Willingness to work Monday‑Friday with a rotating on‑call schedule.
• Attention to detail for inspections, documentation and inventory tracking.
