Maintenance Technician (Rafferty)

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the day‑to‑day operation of a stabilized 218‑unit property in Rafferty. The role ensures that buildings, grounds, amenities and common areas meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and perform preventative maintenance, diagnosing defects and repairing according to policies, safety standards and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, supply procurement and final quality checks.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies and equipment, track usage and notify the supervisor of re‑order needs.
• Document service requests accurately and timely to ensure proper tracking.
• Maintain grounds and common areas by picking up debris, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, and performing general cleaning and painting as needed.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of property maintenance experience.
• EPA and CPO certifications are preferred.
• Experience in affordable housing is a plus.
• Schedule: Tuesday‑Saturday, 9 am‑6 pm (subject to change).
• Eligibility for a 40 % housing discount.
