Maintenance Technician – Prose Lakeside

About the role
We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to join the Prose Lakeside community in Lakeland, Florida. The role ensures that the building, grounds, amenities and common areas meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety and functionality.
Key responsibilities
- Respond to resident service requests and complete work orders in a timely manner.
- Perform preventative maintenance and diagnose the source of defects or problems.
- Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including pre‑move‑out inspections and necessary repairs.
- Maintain compliance with safety standards, company policies and local code requirements.
- Participate in a rotating on‑call schedule to address after‑hours emergencies.
Required profile
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certifications preferred.
- Experience in property or facilities maintenance is a plus.
- Ability to work independently, follow procedures and communicate effectively with residents and team members.
- Flexibility to work Monday‑Friday and rotate on‑call shifts.
