Maintenance Technician – Property Management

About the role
Greystar is seeking a full‑time Maintenance Technician to ensure the physical aspects of its properties, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet the company’s standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality. The role is based in Sarasota, Florida and involves both routine and responsive maintenance tasks.
Key responsibilities
- Complete assigned work orders generated from resident service requests.
- Perform preventative maintenance by diagnosing defects and making repairs in line with policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
- Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant apartments, including pre‑move‑out inspections and creating punch lists.
- Prepare units for new move‑ins by addressing identified maintenance items.
- Adhere to rotating weekend schedules as needed.
Required profile
- Ability to work Monday‑Friday with rotating weekends.
- Strong diagnostic skills to identify and resolve mechanical or technical issues.
- Commitment to follow established safety procedures and company policies.
- Experience in property or building maintenance preferred.
