Maintenance Technician – Pringle Square

About the role

The Maintenance Technician ensures that the physical aspects of Pringle Square – a garden‑style, stabilized community of 292 units in Charlotte, NC – meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety, appearance, and functionality. You will respond to resident service requests, perform preventative maintenance, and prepare vacant apartments for new move‑ins.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders generated from resident requests and preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues and repairing them in line with policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including pre‑move‑out inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, supply procurement, maintenance tasks, and final inspections.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment, tracking usage, returning unused items, and notifying the supervisor of re‑order needs.
• Accurately document service requests and maintenance activities in a timely manner.
• Maintain grounds, common areas, and amenities by picking up trash, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, general cleaning, and painting curbs and signage as required.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts when feasible and using materials and tools efficiently.
