Maintenance Technician – Prado West (Sign-On Bonus)

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician for its Prado West community. The role involves performing technical and mechanical work to keep buildings, grounds, amenities and common areas clean, safe and functional. The position supports resident requests, preventative maintenance and turnover preparations.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident service requests and perform preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues and repairing per policies and codes.
• Execute the make‑ready process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, supply procurement, repairs and final inspection.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies and equipment, track usage and notify supervisor of re‑order needs.
• Document service requests accurately and timely.
• Maintain grounds and common areas by trash removal, pressure washing, general cleaning and painting as needed.
• Support cost‑cutting initiatives and overall property upkeep.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of property maintenance experience, preferably in multi‑family housing.
• Availability to work weekends and be on‑call, with a schedule of Thursday‑Monday 9 am‑6 pm (subject to change).
• HVAC/EPA certification preferred; mid‑rise property experience a plus.
