Maintenance Technician – Patrick's Point

About the role

This position provides technical and mechanical support for the Patrick's Point community, ensuring that buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet Greystar’s standards for safety, appearance, and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and perform preventative maintenance, diagnosing defects and repairing according to policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including pre‑move‑out inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, supply procurement, maintenance tasks, and final inspections.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment, tracking usage, returning unused items, and notifying the supervisor of re‑order needs.
• Document service requests accurately and promptly to ensure proper tracking.
• Maintain grounds and common areas by removing trash, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, general cleaning, and painting curbs or signage as needed.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts when feasible and using materials efficiently.

Required profile

• Ability to diagnose and repair building systems and mechanical issues.
• Experience with preventative maintenance and make‑ready processes.
• Familiarity with inventory tracking and documentation procedures.
• Willingness to perform general cleaning, landscaping, and minor painting tasks.
• Commitment to safety standards and cost‑effective practices.
