Maintenance Technician – Opus L.A.

About the role

We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to join the Opus L.A. property team. The role involves performing technical and mechanical tasks that keep the building, grounds, amenities and common areas safe, functional and presentable for residents.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident work orders and complete preventative maintenance tasks, diagnosing issues and performing repairs in line with company policies, safety standards and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant apartments, conducting pre‑move‑out inspections and preparing units for new tenants.
• Maintain building systems, including mechanical, electrical and plumbing components, ensuring they operate efficiently.
• Document all work performed and update maintenance logs accurately.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of hands‑on maintenance experience in a residential or commercial setting.
• Ability to work independently on a Tuesday‑Saturday schedule.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
