Maintenance Technician – One Ardmore

About the role

We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to join Greystar’s One Ardmore property team. The role involves performing technical and mechanical work to ensure the building, grounds, amenities and common areas meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests and complete preventative maintenance work orders, diagnosing issues and performing repairs in line with policies, safety standards and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including pre‑move‑out inspections, creating punch lists, coordinating vendors, obtaining supplies and completing all required maintenance tasks.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies and equipment, track usage, return unused items and notify the supervisor of re‑order needs.
• Document service requests accurately and timely to ensure proper tracking.
• Maintain grounds and common areas by removing trash, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, general cleaning and painting curbs or signage as needed.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts whenever possible and using materials efficiently.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in building maintenance or related field is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders, inspection reports and basic technical drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality standards.
• Good organizational skills for tracking inventory and scheduling vendor work.

Required skills

• Basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
• Experience with pressure‑washing, painting and general building repairs.
• Familiarity with inventory management and use of hand and power tools.
