Maintenance Technician – Multifamily Property

About the role

We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to join Greystar’s property team in Garrison. The role ensures that the building’s physical systems, grounds, and common areas meet Greystar’s standards for safety, appearance, and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Complete assigned work orders from resident requests and perform preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues and repairing according to policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, supply procurement, repairs, and final inspections.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment, tracking usage, returning unused items, and notifying the supervisor of re‑order needs.
• Document service requests accurately and promptly to ensure proper tracking.
• Assist with grounds, common area, and amenity upkeep, including routine cleaning and minor repairs.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of multifamily maintenance experience.
• On‑call schedule required, Thursday‑Monday, 9 am‑6 pm (subject to change).
• Ability to work independently and follow established procedures.
