Maintenance Technician – Montiavo Townhomes

About the role

The Maintenance Technician ensures that the physical aspects of Montiavo Townhomes – buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas – meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety, and overall functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Complete resident service work orders and preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues and performing repairs in line with policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including pre‑move‑out inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, and final inspections.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment, tracking usage and notifying supervisors of re‑order needs.
• Document service requests accurately and promptly to ensure proper tracking.
• Maintain grounds and common areas by removing trash, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, performing general cleaning, and painting curbs and signage as needed.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts whenever possible.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of maintenance experience, preferably in plumbing, electrical, and general building maintenance.
• Familiarity with property management software such as Yardi and Happy Co is a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Availability to work a Tuesday‑Saturday schedule.
