Maintenance Technician – Mid‑Rise Lease‑Up

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support a mid‑rise, lease‑up property in Northhaven. The role involves ensuring the building, grounds, and common areas meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety, and overall functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and perform preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues and repairing according to policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including pre‑move‑out inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, supply procurement, task completion, and final inspections.
• Manage inventory of materials, supplies, tools, and equipment, tracking usage and notifying supervisors of re‑order needs.
• Document service requests and maintenance activities accurately and promptly.
• Maintain grounds, common areas, and amenities by removing trash, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, general cleaning, and painting curbs and signage as needed.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts when possible and using materials and tools efficiently.
• Comply with Greystar’s safety policies and procedures.

Required profile

• Available to work Monday‑Friday with a rotating on‑call schedule.
• Ability to follow established safety, policy, and code guidelines.
