Maintenance Technician – Marlowe Gateway

About the role

The Maintenance Technician will ensure that the physical aspects of the Marlowe Gateway property – buildings, grounds, amenities and common areas – meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety and functionality. The role involves responding to resident service requests, performing preventative maintenance and preparing vacant units for new occupants.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance, diagnosing defects and repairing according to policies, safety standards and code requirements.
• Perform the “make‑ready” process for vacant apartments, including pre‑move‑out inspections, creating punch lists, scheduling vendors, obtaining supplies, completing repairs and inspecting finished work.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies and equipment, track usage, return unused items and notify the supervisor of re‑order needs.
• Document service requests accurately and timely to ensure proper tracking.
• Maintain grounds and common areas by picking up trash, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, general cleaning and painting curbs or signage as required.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts and using materials efficiently.
