Maintenance Technician – Linea Midtown

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the high‑rise, stabilized property at Linea Midtown. The role ensures that all building systems, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet Greystar’s standards for safety, appearance, and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests and complete preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues and performing repairs in line with safety standards and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, and final quality checks.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment, tracking usage and notifying supervisors of re‑order needs.
• Document all work orders and maintenance activities accurately and promptly.
• Maintain grounds and common areas by trash removal, pressure‑washing, general cleaning, and painting as needed.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing parts when possible and minimizing waste.

Required profile

• Ability to diagnose mechanical and building system issues and perform repairs safely.
• Familiarity with preventative maintenance procedures and make‑ready workflows.
• Attention to detail in documentation and inventory management.
• Willingness to work a Monday‑Friday schedule with rotating on‑call rotations.
