Maintenance Technician (Lease Up)

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support lease‑up activities at its Sonora property. The role focuses on ensuring apartments and common areas are ready for new residents while maintaining the overall safety and functionality of the building.

Key responsibilities

• Complete resident service requests and preventative maintenance work orders, diagnosing issues and performing repairs in line with safety and code standards.
• Manage the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including pre‑move‑out inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, supply procurement, and final quality checks.
• Track and replenish maintenance inventory, returning unused items and notifying supervisors of re‑order needs.
• Document service requests accurately and promptly for proper tracking.
• Maintain grounds and common areas by removing debris, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, performing general cleaning, and painting curbs or signage as required.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts whenever possible and using materials efficiently.

Required profile

• Ability to perform technical and mechanical work safely and efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail for inspections and documentation.
