Maintenance Technician (Juniper, CA)

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support a stabilized, mid‑rise property of 814 units in Juniper, CA. The role involves performing technical and mechanical work to keep the building, grounds, amenities and common areas clean, safe and fully functional.

Key responsibilities

• Complete resident‑initiated work orders and preventive maintenance tasks, diagnosing defects and performing repairs in line with safety codes and company policies.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant apartments, including pre‑move‑out inspections and punch‑list completion.
• Install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair plumbing, mechanical, electrical and electronic building systems and equipment.
• Conduct regular equipment inspections, maintain safety and compliance standards, and manage parts inventory and replacements.
• Use mobile devices or tablets to create, update and close work orders efficiently.
• Provide prompt, professional customer service to residents and internal teams.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of hands‑on experience in plumbing and general property maintenance.
• Ability to read technical manuals, schematics and service documentation.
• Strong diagnostic and problem‑solving skills for mechanical, electrical and electronic equipment.
• Effective communication in English; Spanish is a plus.
