Maintenance Technician – Jasper Columbia Pike

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the physical upkeep of its property at Jasper Columbia Pike. The role involves ensuring that buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests and complete preventative maintenance work orders, diagnosing issues and performing repairs in line with policies and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, supply procurement, maintenance tasks, and final quality checks.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment, tracking usage and notifying supervisors of re‑order needs.
• Document service requests accurately and promptly to ensure proper tracking.
• Maintain common areas and amenities by removing debris, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, general cleaning, and painting curbs or signage as required.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts when feasible and using materials efficiently.

Required profile

• Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical or technical issues in residential properties.
• Strong organizational skills for managing work orders, inventory, and vendor schedules.
• Attention to detail in completing inspections and documentation.
• Commitment to safety and adherence to company risk‑management policies.
