Maintenance Technician

About the role

We are looking for a dependable Maintenance Technician to keep Pinehurst Apartments, a 50‑unit older‑adult community in Pinehurst, TX, in excellent condition. You will handle repairs, respond to service requests, and support unit turn‑over and preventative maintenance programs.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily janitorial duties in common areas and maintain interior and exterior building appearance.
• Complete unit turnovers within three days of move‑out, including cleaning and minor repairs.
• Carry out painting tasks and scheduled preventative maintenance.
• Respond to work orders for apartments and common areas, prioritize urgency, and log details in OneSite.
• Address maintenance emergencies, including after‑hours, weekends, and holidays.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues, including appliance repairs.
• Coordinate with landscape contractors and other vendors to ensure quality work.
• Maintain a clean, organized maintenance shop and secure property keys.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of experience in property or facilities maintenance.
• Ability to lift and move items up to 50 lb and perform prolonged standing, climbing, and bending.
• Strong commitment to safety standards and excellent customer service.

Required skills

• Mechanical, electrical, and plumbing system knowledge.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals.
• Painting and preventative maintenance techniques.
