Maintenance Technician – Industrial Facility

About the role

Chart Industries is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to keep its Energy & Chemicals facility operating safely and efficiently. You will work on a variety of equipment, from welding and fabrication machinery to electrical and hydraulic systems, ensuring compliance with government and environmental regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose and perform advanced repairs on electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and welding equipment.
• Execute preventative maintenance programs for all capital equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of service dates, materials used, and inspection logs for tools and safety equipment.
• Generate requisitions for materials and equipment needed for building and maintenance tasks.
• Participate in fire evacuation, disaster response, and plant shutdown procedures.
• Handle hazardous waste materials in accordance with DOT HM‑126 and NFPA 70E standards.
• Perform and inspect wiring work to meet commercial electrical codes.
• Work at elevated heights up to 75 ft and follow strict safety protocols.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current State Electrical License.
• At least five years of hands‑on experience maintaining electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment in an industrial fabrication environment.
• Ability to pass hazardous material handling and fall‑protection safety training.
