Maintenance Technician – Indigo 19 (Virginia Beach, VA)

About the role

Greystar is seeking a hands‑on Maintenance Technician to join the Indigo 19 property team in Virginia Beach. You will ensure that all building systems, grounds, and common areas meet the company’s standards for safety, appearance, and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests and complete work orders, diagnosing issues and performing repairs in line with safety codes and company policies.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, and final quality checks.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment, tracking usage and notifying supervisors of re‑order needs.
• Document all service activities accurately and promptly for proper tracking.
• Maintain grounds and common areas by trash removal, pressure‑washing, general cleaning, and occasional painting of curbs and signage.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing parts when feasible and minimizing waste of materials.
