Maintenance Technician III/IV – Food Production Facility

About the role

Desi Fresh Foods is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician III/IV to keep its yogurt processing plant running smoothly. You will be responsible for maintaining production equipment, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, and supporting new equipment installations.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on conveyors, pumps, mixers, packaging machinery, and other production equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and PLC control problems promptly to minimize downtime.
• Maintain accurate documentation for electrical panels, PLC controls, drawings, manuals, and change logs.
• Assist with PLC, drive, instrumentation, and electrical installations and provide off‑shift troubleshooting when needed.
• Collaborate with production staff to prioritize work and ensure safety and quality standards are met.
• Support the installation and commissioning of new machinery.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or vocational training in mechanical or electrical fields preferred.
• Several years of experience as a maintenance mechanic or technician in a manufacturing or food‑processing environment.
• Strong knowledge of production equipment such as conveyors, pumps, mixers, and packaging lines.
