Maintenance Technician I/II – Sand Mine (Mansfield, LA)

About the role

DT Midstream is seeking a Maintenance Technician I/II to safely maintain all equipment at its sand mine in Mansfield, Louisiana. The role involves executing preventative and predictive maintenance, repairing equipment, and supporting the overall reliability of mining operations.

Key responsibilities

• Perform assigned maintenance repairs efficiently and effectively.
• Execute routine preventative maintenance on plant equipment.
• Operate rough‑terrain forklifts, man lifts, and other maintenance tools.
• Apply lockout/tagout procedures in accordance with company policy.
• Participate in material inventories and schedule preventative maintenance activities.
• Ensure all work complies with MSHA and OSHA regulations.
• Support special projects, overtime, weekend, and night call‑outs as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality and foster effective relationships with managers, contractors, and vendors.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum two years of maintenance experience in an industrial setting.
• Background with electrical and mechanical equipment, including powered transmissions.
• Experience in welding and fabrication.
• Valid driver’s license and insurability under company vehicle policy.
• Pass pre‑employment drug test, background check, and fit‑for‑duty physical.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to read procedural and safety manuals, collect data, and draw valid conclusions.
