Maintenance Technician – ICON Riverwalk

About the role

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring that the physical aspects of the ICON Riverwalk property—including buildings, grounds, amenities and common areas—meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety and functionality. The role involves responding to resident service requests, performing preventative maintenance and preparing vacant units for new occupants.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders generated from resident requests, diagnose defects and perform repairs in line with safety standards and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant apartments, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination and final quality checks.
• Manage inventory of supplies, tools and equipment, track usage and notify the supervisor of re‑order needs.
• Document service requests accurately and maintain timely paperwork.
• Maintain grounds and common areas by trash removal, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, general cleaning and painting of curbs and signage.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing parts when possible and using materials efficiently.

Required profile

• Ability to perform technical and mechanical work on building systems and amenities.

• Attention to detail in inspections, documentation and inventory tracking.
• Capability to coordinate with vendors and contractors as needed.
